Playful tale for “Children”

Theory of the virtual currency

Before the turbine or even the idea of the turbine, in 2000 a difficult historical period both for Europe and for me since I was grounded at work…my interior creativity pushed me to try rationally solving other universal problems => poverty, ignorance, social injustice, lack of equal opportunities… Even just talking about these things makes you sick…not everyone though; unfortunately there’s no human weed killer to make a “selection”; I sometimes think this is the solution!!!!

Back then I thought it was the lack of economic means that was causing this mess…I thought the solution was simple…why not multiplying money? Not just for doing it but with a determined purpose and a social benefit. Here where the virtual currency comes to play; before credit cards were so common, my neuron developed this weird theory, that is the possibility of creating an economic system that allows the currency to multiply itself based on how it was invested…

My friends struggled to understand, my stupid co-workers laughed hard about it, a group of ignorant without future.

This idea finds its foundation on the fact that to spend the money in circulation it has to be “transformed” into assigned vouchers with a determined purpose, with an expired date and with a validity more or less increased based on the investment one chooses. Technically I can supervise every future investment, everything is “traceable”, and if the “voucher” for a not “legal” necessity or service doesn’t exist, everything linked to it falls because it can’t be paid. GREAT IDEA…There could be a way to overcome this, but there would be controls…it’s a hard fight…but not impossible.

This new economic system differentiates the ethic, social and environmental investment. A euro spent to buy a sock has the same value as a euro spent to save a child’s life with an injection.

In every country it is necessary to guarantee equal access to health, education, a dignified life depending on a country resources, without damaging our environment which is our only hope for a future life.

This concept is still actual 15 years later…it could support the GDP and create lots of jobs…this wouldn’t be a bad thing now…

This “invention” makes me feel better with my conscience…it puts a patch on the calamities I hear about…it’s like my rational part is saying: “There could be a solution…and I didn’t think only of the theory, I thought of a system that could give good results”…instead we keep hearing the news saying the same things and they leave us no hope…

An endless sadness…
